Funivie Monte Bianco
Mont Blanc year-round, an unforgettable experience
Just a few km from Courmayeur, at the border between Italy and France, are the Funivie Monte Bianco. In 20 minutes from La Palud you reach Punta Helbronner (3462 m) and its fantastic Terrace on the Glaciers where the view on Mont Blanc (4807 m) and the Giant’s tooth is breathtaking. On the horizon: the Matterhorn, Monte Rosa and Gran Paradiso.
At Punta Helbronner the Permanent Mont Blanc Crystal Exhibition hosts 150 minerals and quartzes found by a local group Les Amis de Berrio in Mont Blanc Massif.
Pavillon du Mont Fréty a Natural Oasis
Step out of the cable car into a restful haven framed by the peaks of the Mont Blanc Massif. Within this widespread protected area is the Alpine Garden Saussurea [www.saussurea.net] with over 900 alpine plant species originating from the surrounding area and other mountain chains worldwide.
Trekking enthusiasts can set out along several paths within the oasis to discover the alpine environment and its beauty.

At 2200 m a warm welcome from one of the most charismatic chefs in the Alps who will introduce you to the pleasures of
the local cusine.
Enjoy your lunch comfortably sat outside with the whole Aosta Valley at your feet.
Useful information:
- At 3400 m sunlight is very strong. Please wear sunglasses and use a highly protective sun cream.
- Please not temperatures can drop below 0°C even during the summer months, always take some warm clothing with you.
- During the summer experience the fantastic Panoramic Gondola linking Punta Helbronner and the Aiguille du Midi.
