IS THE SKYWAY EXPERIENCE INCLUDED IN MY SKIPASS?
If you have a multi-day ticket valid for the Courmayeur ski area, your ski pass will include 1 or 2 or 3 days to use in another of the valley’s ski areas, including a Skyway ascent, depending on how many days’ validity your ski pass has (use this link to check the number of days available with your ticket). If you have a ski pass, you have to book, free of charge, the date and time of your visit (within the start and end date of your ski pass) in the BOOK section on our website.
CAN I MAKE THE COURMAYEUR – AIGUILLE DU MIDI OR COURMAYEUR - CHAMONIX CROSSING?
The Panoramic Mont Blanc, the cable car that crosses over the glacier, is only open in the summer. We only manage the Courmayeur – Pointe Helbronner stretch and so, when it is open, you can buy a ticket for the rest of the journey only at the Compagnie du Mont Blanc ticket office at Punta Helbronner (1st floor). You cannot book or buy tickets for the French cable car in advance as the daily weather conditions dictate when it operates. They notify us every morning as to whether it is open or closed and you can therefore enquire directly before you leave Courmayeur. For information regarding costs and opening times, we advise you check the website: https://www.montblancnaturalresort.com/fr/.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
The stations are all heated but, the outside temperature varies greatly from season to season. During the summer, temperatures at Pavillon can reach 20-25°C or higher. At Pointe Helbronner, they may reach 10°C or higher and there may be very strong wind. So during the summer we would advise you wear layers, taking off or adding clothes as the wind or sun dictate. During the winter, Pavillon usually has a temperature of around 0°C but this may rise to 10-15°C on very sunny days. At Pointe Helbronner, the temperature is usually below zero centigrade with the possibility of strong wind. For this season, we recommend winter clothing with heavy outer layers that can be removed inside the stations, especially when using the restaurants. Whatever the season, you should always have sun cream and sunglasses with you.

To save the glaciers, Skyway Monte Bianco and Fort Bard are also working together with an innovative communication project at Green Pea, the world’s first Green Retail Park dedicated to respect for the environment.
