Mont Blanc: A Freerider’s Paradise

Itineraries in fresh snow or on glaciers for lovers of freedom

Freeriders from all over the world come to Mont Blanc to experience a day of adrenaline and entertainment, with descents that are different every time but always surrounded by an incomparable panorama.

Anyone can participate in freeriding activities, as long as they possess a good technical preparation and the obligatory material such as an ARTVA, shovel and a probe.
The only trails that start here  are MOUNTAINEERING AND OFF-PISTE ROUTES that are not signaled or checked or protected against typical mountain dangers such as avalanches or rock falls. It’s better to take advantage of the professional knowledge of a high mountain guide.

For those unfamiliar with them, here are some of the best-known itineraries for freeriding enthusiasts:

THE OFF-PISTE OF THE MARBRÉES

This thrilling descent starts from Punta Helbronner in the direction of the Dente del Gigante, comes to the Colle dei Marbrées, and ends in the Val Ferret, all the way to the meadows of Rochefort.

The route is suitable only for the most expert skiers.

THE WOODS OF PAVILLON

From the middle station there is access to the countless fresh-snow slopes in the woods of Mont Fréty, ending in the town of La Palud.
