Crossing over two countries via cableway, soaring above Europe’s highest natural monuments
Imagine crossing over two countries on board a cableway suspended between ice and sky.
The experience offered by the Trans Mont Blanc is precisely this and much, much more.
A cableway liaison that connects Italy to France, Courmayeur and Chamonix-Mont-Blanc, a panoramic journey suspended from a cable for 15 km and 5 cable sections, through the highest natural monuments in Europe.
In the course of a single day you’ll be able to admire Mont Blanc from every angle: going from the 1,300 meters of Courmayeur to the 3,500 of Punta Helbronner, soaring for 5 km above the Gigante Glacier with its séracs and its crevasses, arriving in France at the 3,842 meters of the Aiguille du Midi, and descending to Chamonix.
A magical excursion that will leave you breathless.
You’ll have the chance to take spectacular photos with the impression that you can touch the surrounding mountains with your finger.
Make yourself comfortable, the ascent begins.
EXCURSIONS ON THE TRANS MONT BLANC: WHEN
You can take this excursion in the summer months from end of May until end of September.
PANORAMIC MONT BLANC
If you want to live the experience of flying over the glacier, crossing two nations and visiting the Aiguille du Midi station, the highest on the French side but don't want to go down to Chamonix, we recommend the ascent with departure and arrival in Italy. You will have to buy at the Skyway ticket offices in Courmayeur the round-trip ticket to Punta Helbronner and to the French ticket offices of the Compagnie du Mont Blanc (which upon your arrival at the top you will find inside the station) a round-trip ticket for the Aiguille du Midi.
The Panoramic is open during the summer months from end of May until end of September.
